This has certainly brought out some excellent commentary

This has certainly brought out some excellent commentaryI guess some of the confusion, at least for me,  stems from the News release of Silver Lake..it states SL  " HAS " acquired BNP debt facilities . not " will " acquire on Nov 30,   suggesting to me that they now control matters and have paid out BNP...no mention of closing dates or anything relating to the hedges....Bob , your reference to a house deal is certainly credible, however when I see the words " has "  with no reference to a future closing date, it creates uncertainty.... financial transactions that I see published usually announce a deal of some sort has been struck between two parties, with a closing date sometime in the future allowing lawyer types tp put it to paper...this will unfold as the universe has directed.
