I also can't ignore the fact that someone of her stature & reputation would be VERY selective in who she joins. She is an evidence-based scientist at heart & her decision was more than likely about having the opportunity to guide & be associated with groundbreaking tech. I don't think she would sign on to anything less, even if the money was right...all imo.
