You're in for a Pleasant Surprise

You're in for a Pleasant SurpriseWall Street isn't celebrating New Year's this year, so the markets will be open.

There are plenty of reasons to be very optimistic.
In no particular order:

Xebec's close in the US yesterday was the highest close since December 9th, 3 weeks ago.

Xebec closed at the day's high there.
$2.0166 US is very close to $2.55 Cdn.
The last trade there went through with 2 minutes to go.

Very notably, Xebec traded 117,000 shares in the US on Wednesday, 107,000 on Thursday, and 84,000 shares on Friday.
Xebec's 30-day average volume there is 48,482 shares.

Xebec firmed up on more than twice its average trading volume in the US over what are typically amongst the quietest days of the year.

It wasn't Canadians buying, the Canadian markets were open.
It was American buying

Xebec put on 11% in the last 3 days of the year on volume, rising from Tuesday's close at $1.82 to $2.02.
Other Clean Energy stocks were making new year-lows.

The Americans are becoming increasingly aware of Xebec.
Every acquisition or contract it signs there raises it's profile.

Xebec's Q4 numbers will be outstanding in comparison to the heavy-hitters in the US.

It's as easy for Canadians to buy Xebec in the US as it is for them to buy Walt Disney.
I expect many will be doing just that on Monday.

As well, I expect traders will be looking at this as perhaps the most attractive opportunity in some time.
There's no downside.

If they buy Xebec here, one of two things will happen.
They'll either make a little money or they'll make a lot.

Put on your seatbelts.
You're about to go for a ride on the Space Shuttle.
