Higher blast temperatures
"Higher blast temperatures achieved by plasma superheating of the hot blast can provide a direct benefit through reduction in the coke rate and thus, in CO2 emissions (only if based on "green" electricity) as every 100 degree Celsius increase in hot blast temperature can save about 9 kg/T coke.".
So the industry is clearly aware of these numbers. That means they can take a much better investment decision. ... ;-)
