RE:RE:RE:On the subject of OnwardMobility Missed the partner part. Guilty of admiring the interviewer perhaps. Didn't like her 'nail in the coffin' remark and I think it surprised Chen also. Regardless, OM would still need security regardless of patent sale and that's where the partnership comes in I think. Sounds intriguing and promising.

So could it not be that one of the reasons of the delay on OM's part has to do - indirectly or directly - with the patent sale? If BB is to sell those patents, would it not stand to reason that OM would have to deal with the new outfit purchasing them or some variation of that scenario? One could certainly suspect that the patent sale/negotiations has not made the whole process of developing a new phone easier.
I just find the timing interesting; OM mentioning that they should be able to announce further news this month and the timeframe JC referred to himself in the last EC.
All pure speculation on my part, obviously. I still hope those guys at OM can pull it out. Not a simple task.
