I owned ESK, GOT, ECC, LAB, SIC and others but I've sold all of my juniors to go all in on NFG because I'm very confident it's going a lot higher. I really like what I'm seeing and hearing with New Found Gold.
The thing about NFG is they are advancing the project so quickly because they can drill year round and with 10 plus drills turning night and day. The strike length of favourable geology runs the entire 100 km length of the property. The company is full speed ahead out there this past week. A lot is happening on the ground with 178 employees working non stop.
There is a new "Giga Shack" building being built, new roads being built on Queensway North to gain access to more drill targets, rigs on the move, year round camp up and running on Queensway South property. New Found Gold is already operating like a major gold company. With $130 million in cash it's go big or stay home. These guys are making it happen. With 30k plus meters of drill core in to get assayed I'm expecting lots of very good news in the coming weeks and months. It's a world class operation and I'm confident the drill results will do the talking very soon and NFG's share price will be going much higher.
I agree with mega on an NFG only strategy, though of course everyone must decide on the strategy they feel is best for them.
Since Day 1 for me (which was in late winter 2021), the only Newfoundland gold company I liked is NFG (though I also follow the LAB and SIC BBs out of sheer curiousity).
When it comes to junior gold exploration-stage companies, the risk is high enough right from the get-go, so my thinking is why go out on a limb even further by picking smaller companies with far less impressive results....and for those SIC fans out there, yes, SIC's results are far inferior to NFG's - just take a look at the gram x metre yields of say, the 10 best cores produced to date by each company, Hitting four digits on core yields at such shallow depths is breath-taking in my view. not to mention the sheer size of NFG's claims and Appleton Fault dominance. In my view given the results to date, there's Appleton, then there's everything else.
Like I stated previously, my biggest concern with NFG is the accuracy of past assay results (which will hopefully be settled one way or another within the next month or two) and that they be honest and transparent with shareholders throughout their existence as a company. If they can do that, it's hard to see this thing not being a stunning success over time.
