Yes I hear ya. I honestly thought GBR was worth a lot more as well. And a lot of us here think NFG will be worth a lot more in the near future but in the end something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay.
However, if New Found Gold develops the property themselves I could see in that scenario there would be tremendous value for NFG shareholders. However, initially there would be significant dilution to existing shareholders to raise enough capital to develop the project so it isn't as easy as what everyone thinks and the timeframe would most likely be greater than 5 years.
NFG has a very rare high grade gold discovery and it's still early in the discovery phase so perhaps in a year or two we will see multiples from current levels and a decision will be made at that particular point just how many billions it's worth. Great asset that will only go up over time as the price of gold climbs and as New Found Gold find a lot more gold. I'm very excited about the project and the eventual valuation that is put on it. With 14 drills turning things could happen quickly and we might not have to wait years at all. Just sayin.
