Thoughts on cybersecurity sector In today's world private companies and public organizations alike need cybersecurity more than ever. Because of this, I'm really interested in the SaaS companies that focus on organizational cybersecurity over personal security.
One of the companies in this space that I have been interested in is Plurilock Security Inc. ($PLUR.V $PLCKF). The company provides identity-centric cybersecurity solutions for workforces using zero trust architecture to ensure no internal breaches take place.
Today $PLUR announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aurora, received a $308k order from the U.S. Department of Defense.
Part of the motivation for the Department of Defense making this order is that the average cost of a data breach for DoD increased from $3.86M to $4.24M in 2021. To me, this underscores society's growing reliance on cybersecurity services vendors which makes me feel good about $PLUR going forward.
For others interested in this space what are some of your picks?
Currently, PLUR is trading at $0.42, MC is $29.269M
