Do Awards Mean Anything?

Do Awards Mean Anything?

Makes me wonder how much credence one can place on an award. So many groups have their own criteria or metrics that it's hard to judge if one means more than the other. Here's another award extravaganza from May 2021. There's approx 600 categories and we won in 6. However most appear to be very high profile wins by any standard. Noticeably missing from this company winners list were Palo Alto and CRWD plus a few more notables. McAfee scored a couple & MSFT five wins. Just how prestigious this ceremony is I haven't a clue but if each one like it has BB at or near the top or winning awards left and right then perhaps they speak volumes.
