This is Marshall's final legacy, he came out of retirement as a favor to Claude Theoret to take up the role as CTO.
Taking the helm as CEO was because he believed DM's core (Nexalogy) was powerful enough to succeed and he was willing to commit himself to this endeavor as his last project.
