RE:RE:Greg and new job
RE:RE:Greg and new job True enough. As with any hambone soup, it is the foamy scuz and excess fat that rises to the top in the boilng pot -- and then is skimmed off and put in the grease trap.
Watch, for another Federal example, the career arc of Julian Fantino, now a purveyor of the weed stocks he once compared to murder when the Chief of Police in Toronto, then head of Ontario Risk Management, then head of the OPP, and then Minister of Screwups in Veteran's Affairs, before being skimmed off.
Except in this case, Romain had, by December (or earlier), already fallen in with the Sprott Crowd at Macdonald (which, as mine, is one of the best examples of the Lassonde Curve)
Sometimes in PM mining it seems all roads lead to Sprott, or when a Romain, do as Sprott does (buy shares issued with warrants, dispose of the shares, and keep the warrants).
Too bad GR couldn't have wangled that connection while The Journey to the West was on. but maybe he came up against the warriors of the Chang Cheng (Great Wall of China) who were fending off the barbarians at the gate. Or maybe he is still retained as a consultant.
The Special and Annual meeting has been moved to a later date. Not ready for pime time. Or a Cruz interview. Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - December 14, 2021) - Eric Sprott announces that today, through 2176423 Ontario Ltd., a corporation he beneficially owns, he donated 18,750,000 common shares (Shares) of MacDonald Mines, to The Sprott Foundation (which he controls).
Combined with prior treasury Shares issuances by MacDonald Mines, this resulted in a decrease in holdings of approximately 8.9% of the outstanding Shares on a partially diluted basis since the date of the last early warning report.
Prior to the donation of these Shares, Mr. Sprott beneficially owned and controlled 18,750,000 Shares and 18,750,000 Share purchase warrants (Warrants) representing approximately 7.3% of the issued and outstanding Shares on a non diluted basis, and approximately 13.6% on a partially diluted basis.
