HPQ Silicon Inc V.HPQ

Alternate Symbol(s):  HPQFF

HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ) is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. The Company is engaged in developing, with the support of technology partners PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (PyroGenesis) and Novacium SAS, new green processes to make the critical materials needed to reach net zero emissions. Its activities are centered around the three pillars: becoming a green low-cost (Capex and Opex) manufacturer of Fumed Silica using the Fumed Silica Reactor, a proprietary technology owned by HPQ being developed for HPQ by PyroGenesis; becoming a producer of silicon-based anode materials for battery applications with the assistance of Novacium SAS, and Novacium SAS is engaged in developing a low carbon, chemical base on demand and high-pressure autonomous hydrogen production system. The Company operates in a single operating segment, segment, being the sector of the transformation of quartz into silicon materials and derivative products.

Silica Fume and HPQ/PYR GEN3 Plant

Silica Fume and HPQ/PYR GEN3 PlantSome interesting posts from @cargo from ceo.ca regarding the byproduct of the GEN3 Plant and silica fume:

@cargo It has been mentioned on this board that the secret byproduct from the GEN3 plant is indeed silica fume (not to be confused with fumed silica, HPQ Silica Polvere division). Bernard has been tight lipped about the anode material produce from the byproduct due to patent reasons but I did find an interesting silica fume anode that combines two of our product lines. Lets hope that our anode material produces similar results as the one published by the USDA. $HPQ https://pubag.nal.usda.gov/catalog/6403556

@cargo  Also this is just speculation, the high purity silica that Progressive Planet sent over to PYR facility to transform into amorphous silica (which is derived from silica fume) for its unique PozGlass™ 100G SCM process is silica fume and if the project is successful I can see the GEN3 byproduct playing a important roll in the new process. $HPQ https://www.ccaa.com.au/documents/TECH_NOTE_79_-_Amorphous_Silica.pdf

Another interesting post:

@cargo Posted on Agoracom, From the article below: $HPQ As reserves of lithium and cobalt will not meet future demand, suggested elements to focus on instead are iron and silicon. “We call on materials scientists, engineers and funding agencies to prioritise the research and development of electrodes based on abundant elements,” says Yushin. “Otherwise, the roll-out of electric cars will stall within a decade." https://www.euronews.com/green/2022/02/01/south-america-s-lithium-fields-reveal-the-dark-side-of-our-electric-future?utm_source=flipboard.com&utm_campaign=feeds_nature&utm_medium=referral

Long and Strong in HPQ Silicon and PyroGenesis!
