RE:Just a question??
To answer your question, first, Whitecap has under 600 million shares, closer to 550 million. They are actively buying their shares along with insiders that is published frequently. A reverse split now makes no sense, why? Because they don't need to, period. Their shares are trading in the millions daily, with the SP steadily climbing along with debt reduction, share buy-backs, plus a regular monthly dividend that will be increased shortly. How many Oil & gas companies pay a dividend monthly? Not many. They are very active acquisitions and don't forget one thing, the acquisitions that the made last quarter have not been factored in yet to their upcoming earnings report. It will be record breaking earnings, not to mention future reports based on those extra BBPD they acquired with their hedge % dropping, the sky is the limit. So a reverse split is foolish and a stock split in the future would be great. WCP's ambitious growth trend of acquisitions is looking towards 200,000 bpd. With debt elimination, share buy-backs, carbon capture technology that's being used today, not just an idea.
