our state of ignoranceI believe Ebenizer's "fleas on a dog" describes us well. If Wei is being drilled on our dime, it is entirely possible that there are a number of highly motivated companies "itching" to see confirmation of the size and porosity of what appears to be an enormous pool of oil. Indeed, management "could" be keeping suitors at arms length. Armed with the seismic of Nortern Corentyne, and the interpretation provided by the methodical drilling of Kawa, CGX and Fec are going all in. Or, it could be a case of brinkmanship, "we will press ahead and unlock the vast potential, if you want a seat at the table, pony up"
Billions of dollars are at stake here, and those billions are negotiated to the potential betterment of the individual player, or company in this case. But, in all cases, it is for the ultimate benefit of the individuals within those companies. Our stake is with CGX, and we have little choice in piloting this "dog". I am hoping, counting, wishing for it to win Best in Show! I read each post everyday, and feel affection for all of us who hang in here with so much at stake, trying to be calm and coherent with our postings as the share price wins and loses thousands of dollars for us weekly, daily and hourly.
Having our management team negotiating on our "behalf" is a difficult thing to endure. We know nothing of what we have to offer in true future discoveries and revenues, or how motivated the suitors are. The fact is, the phone could be ringing from so many places, companies begging to partake or deathly silent, as bigger fish wait to see weakness before the kill. Our dog is definately in this fight, with an enormous bone it wants to hang onto. Believe in the dog, or bet against it, my fellow Fleas, we live teetering on the edge of our comfort zone, hoping for the best.
Regards to all of you. Nowanzen
