RE:Bog -the replay of how Putin came to power

RE:Bog -the replay of how Putin came to power Putin's fixation on Kiev is so much like Hitler and Stalingrad it's scary.  Remember that Hitler bombed Stalingrad to rubble before sending in troops, Putin is sending in missile launchers.  The more ground the Russians take the longer their supply lines, while simply a fact of war, with an army that only expected light resistance and quick victory, it may prove absolutely critical.

Morale crumbles quickly when soldiers feel abandoned, or lose faith in their leadership.  Was the army assured of that quick in and out everyone expected?  Are their troops finding conditions on the ground different than they were told?    Russia has the numbers, but of what?
