This statement is laughable. In the first place, no accounts were siezed, they were temporarily frozen and all the money has now been released. The total amount frozen....$8 million from 200 donors. And Bob Moriarty states that this was going to bankrupt Canada???
3)Putin just wanted NATO and the West to honour an agreement signed 30 years ago.that stated no former Warsaw pact countries would join NATO.
Completly wrong, its a myth spread by Putin. If there is a signed agreement, why doesn't Putin produce it. Because it simply does not exist. Here is what Gorbachev told the newspaper Kommersant in 2014, "The topic of NATO expansion was not raised in those years, it was never discussed". Again, if it exists,why does Putin not show the signed agreement.
4) The US, NATO started this war.
Bob goes completly overboard with this wopper. Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 ( although Putin initially denied Russian troops were fighting in the Donbass only to admit it later). Let me reiterate, Russian invaded a sovereign country in 2014 and accused Ukraine of starting the conflict. Somewhat like a thug saying, " if you don't stop ramming your face into my knee, I'll have to retaliate".
5)Putin only wants a secure border.
This is another head shaker. Is Bob seriously suggesting that Russia feared an invasion from Ukraine? Or NATO? That is laughable, why would NATO or Ukraine want to invade Russia.
I could go on but I think you get the point. Likeike has now quoted Bob Moriarty as a health expert and now a political expert when in fact, he is just a retired air force pilot. A cranky old white guy with an infatuation with Putin, kinda like Trump.
And again, Likeike, in the same vein as Dannyboy, has attempted to introduce politics and misinformation onto a chat board for stocks. People with political agendas like these two should be challenged every time they attempt to twist the truth and post fact free nonsense.
