DPRO: A Win Against Covid-19
The collaboration between Draganfly and the Australian Department of Defense and the University of South Australia to tackle the coronavirus was a success. Its new “pandemic” drone has been part of a camera system used to spot signs of illness, such as coughing and elevated temperatures. The goal is not to identify sick individuals but collect real-time statistical data about the possible spread of the disease. Drones are just part of this system, which has leveraged other cameras around the world, such as CCTV cameras. They are all helping feed images and video into software developed by healthcare and AI company Vital Intelligence, Inc. and their contribution to combating Covid-19 is substantial.
