With prices of gas, EV becoming increasingly more relevant. It is at least 3 times cheaper to drive  Ioniq than elantra now. It will be 5-6 times cheaper in spring-summer-fall and Ioniq is SUV...

Reliance on politically and socially toxic Russian carbon easier to reduce while driving EVs.
The only issue is ability to satisfy demand, but market economy is very flexible and resilient.
