RE:Sure WAS a VEEEERRYYYY LONG Buy and Hold,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Being a specialist in buying the lows of TRQ and selling into highs would have been extremely profitable - Several multi-bagger swings since 2003 in the IVN days. I recall the bounce from post-Lehman low in November of a ridiculous $27 (x10 after consolidation) to $350 or at the time $2.70 to $35 cdn. Then you could have waited out, jumped into weed stocks, Bitcoin, or the FAANGs and come back in late last year like a bandit. Oh the hindsight is so juicy! If I had played it that way - really just six trades required, I'd be swimming in filthy lucre. Ha. Got some pieces but not the whole enchilada.
Say picking a random number, $45 gets offered by somebody ... that'll be a near 4x since some nervous ninnies who didn't understand Mongolian dramatics drove it down to what ... $13 last November?
We await the comments of Pentwater ... a certain fists in for the current price may be expected to be expressed. Nice idea, not even close on the price, try again ... or ... meet our new friend Chinalco, or BHP, or Glencorr or who knows out of two or three dozen candidates who might be on a prospect list to want a plump copper asset on China's doorstep.
