Yes, the crazy jump start to the price rise last September could be viewed as a false start. It was set in motion by someone with a starting pistol in the bleachers (SPUT coming to the market). but the price rally set itself back into the starting blocks shortly thereafter and the rally is continuing. The proof in the pudding was the rush to long term contracts with CCO in the first 6 weeks of this year... and CCO's decision to retart McArthur. Everyone knows that $49 uranium is not enough to make McArthur economic, let alone bring any new mines into production. SPUT will continue to flush out the soft uranium out there. And that will dry up. Everyone in the know knows that. The developments in Kazakhstan and Russia have only made the prospects outside those areas that more attractive.
