RE:RE:Westinghouse electric already tried a long time agoPoor Developbc! I dont know who you are parroting from ( another bird brain most likely) but its clear that both of you have no clue of what you are talking about ...as well as zero understanding and knowledge about high T techno. I have bought used most high power plasma techno on earth ( but the Russian one!) and I would suggest that sometimes its better to shut your mouth at the risk of looking like a fool instead of opening it and confirm it. By the way the PYR boat incinerators use a mini plasma torch of a few hundreds kW only. Go back to school boy!

THE USE OF PLASMA TORCHES IN BLAST FURNACE IRONMAKING*

Westinghouse tried their hand in replacing coke in blast furnaces with plasma torches in the eighties .long long time ago .
yes we didn t invent the wheel :)

Qute from article
Westinghouse Plasma Corporation’s (WPC) plasma technology was developed over a period of 30 years with an estimated $100 million invested in research and development (R&D).

Loss of integrity of melting electrodes surely affects reliability of industrial processes .
Plasma torches have to ensure even heating and stable performance at all times .

how will pyr compensate for diminishing performance of electrodes .

it is not as simple as it seems .

westinghouse is already in chinese hands .
who is running after whom ? In the race for the best iron pellets .:)

waiting for the news like everybody else

The tech at Westinghouse Plasma was no where even close to PYR tech/engineering and it  failed miserably who is the same person & founder Shyam running it after buying form Westinhouse Electric.  At his helm it goes bankrupt but yet he buys it pennies on the dollar thru his holding company.

Pattern of failures and then buying it thereafter!? Management – AquaSource Technologies

Not sure if I would invest $1000 in Shyam AquaSource Technologies - YouTube

Also Pyrogenesis has a lock on plasma torch application induration furnaces for iron ore pelletization.
Anyways LONG AND STRONG PYR!!!!!
