Well stated, and I concur entirely.  However, I think the "Orange" Revolution of 2004 in Ukraine was also probably under US directive, followed up by the 2014 Maidan Revolution, in which the US role was a 100% certainty).

(Just as the 2014 Umbrella Movement in HK was followed up by the 2019 Umbrella Protests;  both under US directives).

Also, I think the US has threatened to sanction almost every one of its main "allies" at some point in time during the past decades, if they so much as hesitated to toe the US line on their policy of the moment.

At various times, I can recall sanction threats being issued against Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Japan, and Australia, and in each case, the disobediant vassal state would ultimately kowtow and seek absolution.

The only major allie I can not recall them ever threatening to sanction is Israel.

The death of the Petro Dollar will, as you state, play a huge role towards the end of dollar hegemony, and ultimately, Pax Americana.
