RE:RE:Mithaq Capital This was my post Febuary 11, 2022.
I would normally agree with you in a world with no short sellers and the stocks being manipulate by other forces.  I also own HCG and I understand its not the same industry but it does draw a comparison of sorts. HCG like AIMIA use to pay dividends and that is why investors were attracted to the companies. HCG buys back significant amount of shares and as of yet has not reinstated the dividend and share price drops. In HCG's case OSFI a governing body had stopped the ability to reinstate the dividend and when OSFI permitted the ability to reinstate HCG chose to buy back over 300 million dollars worth of shares. I have invested in many companies where situations were similiar and the end result in some cases are that the company gets sold off at such a discount to company value. We all know AMIA should be worth much more but who is buying the cheap shares now with intention of leaving the small public investors holding the bag.

Note it states the same prediction of Amia getting sold off at a discount leaving the public investors screwed!
