I have also heard this. Usually it wouldnt be a big deal. Executives receive a large portion of their salary in stock grants/options and if they hold on to it all their portfolios become very concentrated. However, for a small-cap growth company with "huge potential" it is indeed concerning that the people whose job it is to get more investors in the stock are also selling their own shares
