RE:RE:Shorts starting to close in London........
Will be interesting how they play it next week, after a strong week they may open next weak showing weakness - trying to play into peoples fears of a fall back in the share price and see if they can kill the upwards momentum to drive some downwards.
Online limits will be the show, if they allow decent sized selling but dont allow buying with a falling price, you know they are accumulating for their buy order.
But with 7 million shares still short in London and over 1.25 million short in Canada, and not many weeks to major news events, they cannot afford to wait too long.
My only worry is a "compromise" is found - short holder approaches House Broker, agrees to buy into a placing at XXX pence a share, offering the company a fund raising at significant premium to the current price at the time they negotiate, and so the share price is pushed upwards to the agreed placing price and then the placing is carried out.
However currently they are trying to stop buying and taking all the sells they can.........which says........short closing is now in effect.
