RE:Time for new CEO to click present. What he says should have some market impact, and to do that it should include a summary of where Abcourt is as he sees it, warts and all, and where he plans to take it, with some explanation as to how he will do it. Just saying hello, here I am, I exist, does not qualify as good start in my eyes. The impatience we all have as shareholders with wanting to hear something, anything that will break the silence will evaporate with a very good and comprehensive statement of intent that is well thought out. He has only really seen the Abcourt map, and is presumably experiencing the actual territory of Abcourt at the moment. Once he is familiar with actual operations and the people involved he can put his stamp on the company. That will be the time to make his statement of intent to the shareholders.
He cannot simply say hello or merely make hopeful statements about what he would like to do. It has to be more concrete than that. An achieveable timetable of development which can be married to periods of promotion will work to improve the share price. Meeting targets, delivering profits, monetizing fallow assets and sharing the good news with the investing public in an effective way, will give us what we all want.
