Wash trading is illegal. Major financial institutions will not conduct illegal activity in order to lose money. They are trading amongst themselves because there is no demand in the stock, not because they are manipulating it. Agreed this stock is most probably going to trade sideways for a while. Macro env overwhelming any positive news. As mentioned before im hoping earnings & spin closing causes a boost in the stock and allows me to exit closer to my cost basis
