Bonterra Energy Corp. is a Canada-based conventional oil and gas company with operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. Its operating areas include Pembina Cardium and other areas, which include Saskatchewan and Northeast British Columbia. The Company is focused on the development of the Pembina and Willesden Green Cardium lands within central Alberta. It has Shaunavon properties in the Chambery field, which produce medium density crude oil from the upper Shaunavon formation under waterflood. It also has assets in the Prespatou area of northeast British Columbia, which consists almost entirely of natural gas and associated natural gas liquids. It also has an undeveloped Charlie Lake asset that is prospective for light oil in Bonanza, Alberta. The Company has over 116 net sections of contiguous land in the light oil prone Charlie Lake.

Wow. How can you be that obtuse.

They paid 30 cents per month for years. Debt stayed flat and that was un -sustainable?

The only time debt became a problem was when differentials blew out to due to a shortage of storage and pipeline space.

300 million in debt would be sustainable now if not for some idiotic banking policy changes.

at 100 million in debt these guys are very UNDER leveraged.

What they should do is follow the same drilling program as Yangarra. Keep one rig turning all the time to maintain the same crews and control costs. JV the crew on a few projects if they want the well numbers down and pay out 75% of free cash flow as soon as total debt gets CLOSE to 150 million.
