Xebec and the Heavy Duty Truck Industry

Xebec and the Heavy Duty Truck IndustryClass 8 Heavy Duty Over the Road 18 wheelers running on diesel fuel are the biggest transportation polluter at present.  There is no commercially available All Electric Class 8 truck that can go Over the Road.  The problems of range, charging times, and lack of chargers will take years to solve.  Westport Fuel Systems is presenting a truck this week that runs on hydrogen using existing Internal Combustion Engines with performance 20% higher than using diesel  They already have an Over the Road truck in Europe produced by Volvo that using an existing Internal Combustion Engine and runs on Renewable Natural Gas that performs on par with diesel.  Xebec has the technology with Biostream to produce RNG from organic waste.  RNG can be transported in existing natural gas lines to an onsite HyGEAR unit to produce hydrogen.  This will enable fueling stations to have the capability of providing RNG, hydrogen, or existing diesel with minimal adaptation of infrastructure and the ability to use existing capabilities to repair, replace, and maintain these Internal Combustion Engines.  Every single molecule of methane that is captured to produce RNG is one less molecule of methane that would otherwise be released to the atmosphere.  As a bonus, the digestate that remains after capturing this methane off the organic waste can be processed and used as an organic fertilizer and soil builder that is far superior to the present chemical fertilizers with NO risk to the purity of the ground water.    It's not Rocket Science.
