RE:Joe just said big news on the horizon$$ Thanks Tex!!!Joe and Setti and several posters on this board have said a lot of things but they never said anything about the fact that TAAT's stock price has been in a downtrend since August 2021 and it has dropped 75% in that downtrend. It is still struggling to reverse that downtrend. It hit a new low of $1.00 on April 19.
Making predictions about future events is easy but it's a lot harder to predict things that actually happen that actually results in TAAT's stock price moving back to the $3.00 to $4.00+ area where it was for most of 2021. It hasn't been above $2.70 at any time in 2022.
The financial results have been the primary reason why the TAAT's stock price has performed poorly and it's all a direct result of decisions made by management. It all happened on their watch. The HLND purchase is not going to magically solve TAAT's financial issues. They are going to need to raise additional funds by September if they don't turn things around soon.
TAAT has been touted as the greatest invention since sliced bread but it has not lived up to that prediction. The strategy seems to lack focus. Management was originally planning to focus on growing a footprint in OHIO because of the high concentration of smokers there but they are still working on OHIO with the new plan to purchase HLND and become a distributor.
The problem I see is that Joe and Setti are both Sales/Marketing guys when the company needs an experienced CEO capable of a much needed turnaround. Joe is very sales oriented and it shows very clearly in his video interviews. That's not a bad thing for sales growth but the share price is not doing well, the company is burning through cash and losses exceed Revenues by a factor of 10 so there's that to think about. Neither one of them could answer the same simple question about Trade Receivables so that tells us that they don't understand the Accounting/Financial side of the business to the depth that senior managers should.
I'll be called a Basher by the usual suspects but everything I have posted here is based upon the facts. Be cautious if you think my comments are bashing. Only fools ignore the facts, The smart investors have learned how to do real DD and use this information to avoid losses and actually earn profits. Be one of the smart investors.
My patience is pretty much done with TAAT. I still own shares but the clock is ticking.
