Commodities vs. company stocksAlbert Arias is doing all of us a favor, at least for the present time, with him, the West family, and Lee Cooperman close holding ~1/2 of the ~65,000,000 outstanding shares, leaving only a float of ~32,500,000 shares available for trading. This is a far cry from the number before the reverse 1/10 split. These lessened numbers, just like commodities can be and are affected by supply and demand. My view of the current overall market is that, because of these skittish wild daily stock market fluctuations created by all too well known macroeconomic factors, there is overall hisitancy to be a buyer of anything until the future becomes clearer. When, and if, clarity occurs and demand returns, accompanied by LGO buyback participation and much looked for company positive news, the small float could result in rapid Sp acceleration. Just my opinion, but what do I know? I feel like The Lone Ranger making posts on a board dominated by so much negativity. This reminds me of one of my card playing friends asking me "when did you first realize that you were different from all of the rest of us?" My response was "it was early on, and boy, was I glad!" Another one of my good friends, many years ago, told me of the importance of the 3 S's: Sports, Sex, and Surgery. I would like to add my 4th S to that list: Stocks. I miss those guys a whole lot.
