Regulus Resources Inc. is a Canada-based international mineral exploration company. The principal project held by the Company is the AntaKori copper-gold-silver project in northern Peru. The AntaKori project is located approximately 600 kilometers (km) north of Lima and 50 km northwest of the city of Cajamarca, on the world-class Miocene Au-Cu-Ag belt of northern Peru. The AntaKori claim group is located immediately adjacent to the Tantahuatay high-sulphidation epithermal (HS) Au mine (Compania Minera Coimolache, Buenaventura-Southern Peru); 7 km NW of the Cerro Corona porphyry Cu-Au mine (Gold Fields); and 32 km NW of the Yanacocha HS gold mine (Newmont-Buenaventura), all within the prolifically mineralized Yanacocha-Hualgayoc mining district in the Department of Cajamarca. It has completed 31,666.99 m of drilling on the AntaKori project. The AntaKori project hosts a resource with indicated mineral resources of 250 million tons and inferred mineral resources of 267 million tons.

BVN running out of ore on the oxide cap, so yes they are going to have to make some decisions Soon regarding the copper below.   Reg doing a jv with bvn makes a lot of sense. That would make the project much more saleable if it were all consolidated.   Its hard to say whether BVN stays for the long haul or not but my guess is they have too many other projects to deal with to handle the majority of this property. Lots of potential possibilities with who the operators are in the long run (SCCO?/GF?) but either way a very sellable project.   
Off the top of my head I can't remember BVN's resource is (either 11 or 14 billion lbs CU eq) plus add in Regs 8 billion + a resource update thats going to be materially higher and you have a very large copper resource.   Majors flush with cash are going to be crawling all over this.  The market is so deaf.   Also looking forward to whats behind drill doors 48/49.   Lots of good potentials coming down the pipe.   
As noted, good resource that provides a floor with lots of blue sky still to come. Should be an interesting second half of the year.
