Market believes inflation still out of control

Market believes inflation still out of controlToday we got a 41 high year inflation number... something a majority of investors (old and new) have never grappled with.

I was not old enough in the early 80's to feel the full impact of the crazy numbers back then. I did not own a home, have a credit card (hardly a thing back then anyway), or have any cash reserves left over to invest. Sooo, today's news is as impactful to me (now retired) as a newer, first time investor.

The market believes inflation is still raging wildly and the average consumer is certainly witnessing it in every day life. I think we may print a double digit number before this starts to cool and the Dow and S&P temporarily enter correction territory.

Panic and capitulation is not here yet. It won't be as noticeable as March 2020 but it will be a buying opportunity again.
