RE:Metso Equipment Has Started to Arrive at Almonty’s Sangdong

RE:Metso Equipment Has Started to Arrive at Almonty’s Sangdong These mill base plates might look like shlt, but the fact is it the most important part of the build, concrete wise..
It is becoming clear that the mill foundations are about to be constructed.
The reason for this is that a massive amount of reinforcement steel bars are required to be encased in concrete to ensure the mill foundation has next to zero movement under the mills.
These base plates will then go on top and be lazar leveled to less than 1mmm tolerance. (I can explane futher if you wish).

It is very similar to installing a power station turbine which runs fast and has no tolerance for vibrations or movements (absolute zero).

Mills from Metso have been fabricated in Finland and as they always do, the mills have been shop run and tested before dismantle/crate and delivery to site.

Metso will do the instalation for the mills and the commissioning might be shared with the EPC group (i doubt that one as they have no idea on mill commissioning).
.
Primary jaw crusher is not an issue, it is just a big robust chunk of metal that has very few moving parts and has done the same job since the vision was made in 1858. But this item is always the first part of every mines process.
