q3 Corus Entertainment Inc. (CJR-B.TO) on Wednesday announced its Q3 2022 results.
The company's total revenue rose 8% YoY, from $403 million, to $433.5 million, beating a Capital IQ forecast of $417.03 million. Revenue at Corus' television segment was 6% higher to $404 million, while radio jumped 27% to $29.3 million.
Net income attributable to shareholders was $29.6 million, or $0.14 per diluted share, missing a Capital IQ forecast of $0.20. The comparative figures for Q3 2021 were $40.66 million and $0.19, respectively.
Free cash flow was $27.5 million in Q3, versus $64.7 million in the same period last year. The fall is due to a decrease in cash provided by operating activities of $37.5 million.
