I agree with this. At a local supermarket where I once shopped they must have increased prices by 30%. I now only buy coffee and bread as they are produced in-house.

I believe many businesses are taking advantage of the situation which will ultimately hurt them as they will be stuck with a lot of inventory once people wake up. When the excess inventory gets depleted the next step will be layoffs.

The market is already telling us that we're going to have a recession. The majority of bear markets (20% declines) have turned into recession induced bear markets.
