RE:RE:Kawa vs. Wei

RE:RE:Kawa vs. WeiHi Chulo123. All good historical information.   But what you are not taking into account is the depositional and structural setting of the sands at the time of deposition.  Its not the present day location that really matters.  The sands if present in the Corentyne block at the Wei-1 location and defintiley at the Kawa location are more mid slope sands and not basin floor sands as pentrated in the Exxon block wells.  Corentyne block sand are thinner and more ratty (interbedded with shales or non reservoir facies).   The Wei-1 prospect/well is a little more down dip towards the basin so hopefully thicker sands could have been preserved but again not likley to be the same thickeness and quality as in the Exxon block.  Hope this helps.
