RE:Big problem with cobalt free battery

RE:Big problem with cobalt free battery

"will be peed having to charge every week"

No, that  is simply not how EV's work. One doesn't go and charge every week, you go home everyday, and are always topped-off in the morning. No, that certainly is not the issue. 99% of  folks only need 40 miles a day, and charge at home of course.

The issue is on those occassional long trips. This is exacerbated due to the infancy of the charging network, but is getting better.  Your 267 mile range (instead of say 330 on a Tesla long range), means you charge twice instead of once on a 6-8 hour drive.  This is where hybrids and gas have a big one-up on EV's, at least for  now. CATL for example has a new 1000km (620 mile) range that charges in under 15 minutes.
