Thanks @microcaphobby for great postingsThank your microcaphoppy for many initiated and valuable posts. I have been away from the board for a while but Q1 and Q2 make me very excited. In 2020 I bought my first Canadian stocks: Indigo Books and Hammond Power. In both cases it turned out that most likely Goyston, Gordon & Payne was the seller. I exited Indigo in 2021 buy kept nearly all HPS. I see it profiting from many trends: - electrification in many industries speeds up - both renewables (wind/solar) as well as oil/gas capex etc is strong - cost structure and margin level permanently better after the Italian exit - supply chain on shoring trend leads to more sourcing in North America for more transformers - Transformer production probably under appreciated by many industry participants since many prefer asset light business models. Advantage for HPS, just like the remaining refineries are very profitable now as market has cleared - the cash flow is very inpressive considering the growth (which often increases the need for working capital) I hope a recession is not denting too much of HPS's bull market.
