UEC - national hero for getting American assets back for USUEC is being considered a national hero by Americans because it bought Uranium One, which brought a bunch of American uranium assets back into American control. It must have just killed them to have the arch enemy Russia holding natural resources that are of value to them. Uranium One use to be a Canadian company. I think I owned it before it was sold (it was sold several times). There were a lot of problems selling including the Hilary Clinton incident. There was also something about selling it to a foreign company, but my memory is a little shake on the details. They probably don't see that Canadians wouldn't want to sell our assets, properties in the Athabasca Basin, to them.
