Game-changer for FL and NA lithium industry

Game-changer for FL and NA lithium industry

I haven't seen anybody yet discussed Biden's Inflation reduction act and its meaning for us.

I would like to emphasize recent game changer for Canadian lithium companies with US EV Tax credit.

US isn't the best place for mining especially such "dirty" metal as lithium. PLL's Carolina lithium project and LAC's Thacker Pass lithium mine are good examples of it. I won't bet on any companies with US assets due to high chance of not getting development  permits.

It's just the first inning for Canadian lithium industry and I believe hunt for local assets is yet to come.

FL timeline is perfectly aligned with the above mentioned changes:

Under the $740 billion economic package, the tax credits would take effect next year.

For an EV buyer to qualify for the full credit, 40% of the metals used in a vehicle's battery must come from North America

By 2027, that required threshold would reach 80%.
