Rig Move ? CEO.CA: @Idiotbuster.: I received a highly detailed email from Arthur...only reason Uranus will go it alone on Program A is a logistical issue but he suggested the team is looking into options to have a second rig on site for Program B.
@Brent Just got this from art —RIG Move is a term. I do not know much about offshore rigs, but I worked on land rigs and a "RIG MOVE" involved a lot of things to get all packed up and on trucks etc, before the rig actually moved. This ocean rig I am sure has many things like pump tanks, pull anchors, jack up the legs etc etc etc (there is a video about moving this exact same rig on youtube), attached the tug boats etc etc before the rig actually physically starts to move. It is all under the term "RIG MOVE".
My last update their 8th morning stated reading RIG for departure (departure in actual physical move), but the RIG is already in the "RIG MOVE" state. So nothing has changed. See below, it is not a canoe.
My next update with be their 9th morning and I am sure it will state RIG sailing.
