The attached shows that the US started LNG construction( in the modern era) in 2016 and has grown to 14 bcf in 2023. By 2026 they will add another 6 bcf to get to 20 bcf. In Canada LNG was being considered in about 2008. If LNG Canada maintains schedule we will have only 1.8 bcf on line in 2025.
Phase 2 of LNG Canada has still not been officially announced by Shell and its partners but even if they announced it now it probably wouldn't come on line until 2027. So I can understand FWs viewpoint. The Time part is not Shell's doing.
