RE:Theralase Insider Buying

Dr. Mandel ponied up $25,000 and the Dumoulin-White/Hachey family invested $575,000. This trial is Theralase's double or nothing shake of the dice. If FDA approval of TLD1433 for the treatment of NMIBC is not forthcoming, IMHO, Theralase will no longer be a going concern. All of that money from their own pockets will be gone. These people, like many of the posters on this board, are getting a bit long in the tooth to be hazarding that much money on a gamble that, if it fails, will deprive them of a future source of income. With so much riding on trial results they have chosen not to hedge their bets,
This action betokens a level of confidence in the success of the trial that should warm the hearts of all Theralase investors.
Seeing Dr. Mandel pony up a not insignificant amount of $ was my ace-king in the hole. It's certainly a positive to have an insider participate in a PP, but on any positivity scale imo, you reach another level when your current MD, PhD CEO (with a significant scientific/medical/clinical background & wealth of experience in drug development) also decides to participate at this juncture.
This company has consistently achieved significant milestones & now we have Dr. Mandel's participation in the PP. This significantly reinforces in my mind that we have reached a minimum threshold (scientific/data-wise) that has notably derisked this company & should represent an inflection point for us. Furthermore, such insider participation indicates that those who have an inside look at this company also strongly believe it is undervalued, & moving forward, the positive data trend established thus far will likely continue. JMHO. Good luck...
