Interesting Reads on Plasma and the Cement Industry

Some informative and interesting reads involving the use of plasma in the cement industry. Interesting to see that plasma is now being mentioned more and more as an alternative in different markets and industries. 

@cargo Nice, we all know about this project by Heidelberg Cement in Ribbledale UK which was a worlds first demonstration utilizing biomass, hydrogen + plasma energy.

Interesting read on Plasma in Cement industry. The results of modelling plasma torches indicated that it is feasible to replace the fuel burners with plasma torches in the rotary kiln. To validate this result, calculations on the gas temperature profile in the kiln need to be performed to investigate if the required temperatures can be reached.
