RE:RE:RE:RE:Older Plus Sized Canadian Women Share of WalletI hear you.  Reitmans has to prove itself again.

For some historical context on Reitmans

REITMANS 2011 2010 2009 2008 2007
EARNINGS PER SHARE 1.3 0.98 1.21 1.531 1.461
DIVIDENDS PAID 51895 49351 50885 46930 40893
RET.A PRICE AT YEAR-END 17.81 16.14 10.68 17.12 23.05
PE ratio 14 16 9 11 16

NORDSTROM uses of cash
Capex: 3%
Debt: Reduction
Shareholder return: quarterly div $0.19; $35M of $500M stock repurchase

Reitmans NCIB, eventual dividends and time to reprice at a PE of 7.  NCIB is like a magnet that draws PE towards the industry mean.  The other banners (RW &Co and Reitmans are more like a Zara) which commands a higher PE around 22 : ).  I would expect a PE above 10 for RET if they focus on shareholders.  They have had it in the past.
