RE:RE:RE:RE:Well Health Sees Patient Visits Post Continued Growth In Q3 I've held onto WELL with a minimum of 1000 stocks since 2019. I'm long on WELL but doesn't mean I'll keep everything I have on them for long but I'll keep my minimum of 1000.
I read some of the boards each day just for entertainment however this board is by far the most entertaining but also has very low number of unique people who write. It's always the same 5 people either ripping apart anything WELL says into a negative or people praising the company.
I look at the reality. The company is doing great, the news reports are great, the growth is great, the management is great, but there is a market cycle, and health care stocks are just old news at the moment.
That being said, lets be honest, the company is positioned to sell, that's clearly the end game of WELL as that's the history with their management team.
As I keep saying, if each quarter surpasses expectations, there is nothing to worry about.
Nobody is arguing it's not the best short term buy, but for the people who are not day/week/month trading and buy stocks for the long term, this is a fantasic stock for a portfolio. They are in a recession proof market and with the recent purchase from DOC, shows that WELL is clearly the leader in the market.
I'm invested in DOC but at this case it's just for the tax loss purposes, as I took a risk on WELL and DOC, and WELL was the diamond, DOC was dirt.

With the link above over the coarse of the last 2 years WELL has been gaining ground in the EMR Market. They currently own 4 of the companies providing OntarioMD certified software to doctors in Ontario (BC numbers don't seem to be public that I could find anywhere).
Since 2019, before they owned CRH or any clinics in Ontario actually, I used this site to see their growth, and each month published I watch it grow by 50+ doctors month. They have surpassed QHR and I believe will eventually surpass Telus in terms of use. Growth like this doesn't happen for a shi tty product
This is just a cycle and at some point Health Care and technology will be back in the cycle and this is where it'll take off again. Before Covid it was a $0.40 stock then it went to the moon at $9, and settled what seems to be ~$3.
I don't try to predict stock prices in future as anything can happen, but I do believe if we were to get multiples to their competitors in the US, we should be trading at at least $6. That's doubling my money in a couple years.
Don't get me wrong though, it's still an extremely risky violile stock and I do not recommend anyone sink their life savings into this stock but I personally put 5-7% of my portfolio into gambles and to me this is a high risk high reward over the next 1-2 years.
