The PetroTal company denounced that the Indigenous Association for the Development and Conservation of Bajo Puinahua (AIDECOBAP) promotes measures of force and threats with firearms against oil activity in Lot 95, located in the district of Painahua (Requena, Loreto). .

 

 

Through a statement, the oil company alerted the Government that violent acts have been taking place by AIDECOBAP supporters against the citizens of the capital of Painahua, because they oppose the forceful measures called by the association.

" In their public statements, they have encouraged their followers to protest with spears and firearms and, as a consequence, there have been attacks on the population, a situation that violates their rights and threatens their jobs and income ," said the company.

Faced with a possible dialogue, PetroTal indicated that it did not participate in the meeting last Saturday called by the Ministry of Energy and Mines, since the minimum security conditions were not met.
