RE:Shock and Awe This is about Canada's natural gas reserve and how it could benefit the country if there were no obstructions such as government and activists: (and of course, opinions on that are all over the map, none of which are capable of helping the situation -- the power lies with the politicians, and we know where we sit with that in the present, as they pad the purses with fear mongering carbon offsets, etc.) How much of 'our' money will they waste chasing some unmeasurable objective in an unreasonable time frame that does not even have a recognizable step by step plan of how to get there. At some point people may become sensitive to how their money is being used as they get to keep less and less of it. I am too old to still be around to be significantly affected but I do wonder how it will turn out for others. Having experienced 'climate change' for the past 82 years I would have no fear looking forward to the next 82 years but that's not how life works. Too bad the powers that be are not compelled to lay out a practical substantiated plan of how they expect to get to "net zero" (whatever that means) by 2050. Maybe the first step would even be how they define net zero - not just a dictionary definition.
