RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Imagine the conversations...Hopefully the pain of a windfall tax won't be as bad as it has been projected to be. At the very least , any tax paid will not be available for further investment . Better would be investment tax credits or other offsets. From an economic point of view, the only thing worse than a tax is the uncertainty that has been and still is being created. blowing off the fossil fuel producers will not do a single thing for renewables producers. 
Petroleum is indispensable , once that basic fact becomes very apparent , there will be a change of attitude by all. The day of energy reconciliation is much closer than many suspect !!
